MY THOUGHTS:
If you want more in life, do more in life.
I read Vitamin H, Volume 1 and loved the small dose of positivity and then sat down to read the next edition and in the haste or whatever we call it, I ended up buying the Volume 3 instead of 2. And that’s the beauty of this, you know? The order kinda doesn’t matter. What matters is the words that you read in. The words that you absorb.
Vitamin H is a book of collection of quotes ranging in different topics from love to life, from philosophy to self reflection. The collection of small quotes designed to read one each day is a good habit especially for people who are new to reading and are trying to build a habit. This is kind of like no real investment. A quote a day. Easy- peasy. I also think this a good collection to journal with. Journaling is the best way to untangle the mess in your head. The author, Abhishek Thakkar also specifies how Gratitude Journaling is important and how it can change your life. (Day 265).
Enter the field of silence to hear the music within. Enter the world of music to experience the silence within.
Whether it is the stress due to the shift in the world around or the fear, some times all we need is some good words to reenergize ourselves and I would say, Vitamin H does that. With a few words they are geared to awaken that monster within you and help you to live a fulfilled life. And since they don’t have any title or anything fancy, each word or rather each quote can be as personal and impersonal as you want. There are few words when you read them, you can think or rather feel that they are written just for you.
I loved them. I honestly did. But at times they did seem a little repetitive. Maybe because I binged 2 books back to back? I don’t know. But it’s a very small issue. Overall, I loved every minute of reading Vitamin H.
You are not a sinner. You are a winner.
Vitamin H is the book you go to when you are feeling lost. We all know that books are our best friends and sometimes when nothing is working out, books will. I would recommend Vitamin H to everyone. This book can be your cheerleader on good days and a motivator on bad days.
